SHERTRACK INTRODUCES POWERFUL NEW SCHEDULING ENGINE

Livonia, Mich. –April 15, 2005 – SherTrack, a leading provider of planning and scheduling solutions for process manufacturers, announces the commercial availability of its new “MP” scheduling engine. MP is built on top of the Xpress-MP solver from Dash Optimization, and is fully integrated with the SherTrack’s proprietary probabilistic planning and scheduling solution, SNAPPS. The MP scheduling engine uses a unique mixed-integer optimization approach to automate the creation of production schedules for a wide variety of complex manufacturing configurations.
