SHERTRACK GAINS MICROSOFT CERTIFIED PARTNER STATUS
Livonia, Mich. – October 10, 2005 – SherTrack, a leading provider of
planning and scheduling solutions for process manufacturers, obtained Microsoft
Certified Partner status for their probabilistic planning and scheduling product
SNAPPS.
Built on the .NET Framework from Microsoft, SNAPPS leverages the mutual
investment and interoperability between Microsoft and SAP to deliver flexible deployment
and integration options for a wide variety of customer IT landscapes.
SNAPPS thin client solution can be deployed inside the firewall or licensed as an externally hosted “on-demand” service. It can be seamlessly integrated as
an optimizer for existing planning systems, or used as a replacement for an existing scheduling solution (with a
browser based, fully-functional, best-in-class graphical user interface).
Customer operating results realized to date have been significant: SNAPPS has consistently delivered 15% to 50% reductions in inventory
while reducing late orders by 65% to improve customer service performance by
15%. These results were measured using controlled Six Sigma statistical
techniques for organizations with mature S&OP processes and “best in breed” ERP and APS solutions in place.
